Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy a website from Rix Digital ("we", "us"), a web studio based in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, contactable at contact@rixdigitalweb.com. By paying for a plan you agree to them.

1. What we provide

We design and build a website for your business and show it to you as a private preview before you pay. If you choose to go ahead, we deliver that website on your own domain under one of the plans below.

2. Previews

Previews are free to view and create no obligation. A preview that is not taken up may be taken offline and deleted after a short period.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for our products. Dodo Payments handles card processing, invoicing and applicable sales taxes. Prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Delivery

After payment you will receive a link to your client area, where you can send your final copy, photos and domain details. We aim to take the website live within 48 hours of receiving everything we need. You are responsible for your domain name and for giving us, or making yourself, the DNS changes needed to connect it.

5. Changes

The one-off payment includes one round of changes, requested by email to contact@rixdigitalweb.com within 30 days of delivery. The monthly plan includes one update every three months. Further work can be quoted separately.

6. Content you provide

You confirm that you have the right to use any text, images, logos and other material you send us, and that it is accurate and lawful.

7. Ownership

With the one-off payment, the website design and content are yours once payment is complete and the website has been delivered. With the monthly plan, we host and maintain the website for as long as the subscription is active.

8. Cancelling the monthly plan

You can cancel the monthly plan at any time from your client area or by email, with no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which hosting and updates stop.

9. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

10. Liability

We take care to build websites that work well, but we cannot guarantee that a website will be free of interruptions caused by third parties such as hosting providers or domain registrars. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
